Chris was so excited as the temperatures kept plummeting to an all time low of -63 C (for us) with the wind chill!
Naturally being adventurous, we had to experience first hand the outdoors in the coldest temperatures we’ve ever felt.
Dressed like a pair of mummies, we ventured outside. The temperature was not what made it unbearable but rather the wind which felt like it was ‘cutting’ at your face which was thankfully beneath layers of a hood, toque, scarf and balaclava.
Well as the saying goes …been there done that …now I don’t need to do it again! It also give me a whole new appreciation for the hunters and people of Nunavut who live on the land.
